This coffee shop was first brought to my attention in 2007, a year before I had ever set foot in Minneapolis. Mitch Clem, the author, inker, neglecter, of Nothing Nice to Say, use it in the background of a comic about bike races.

A year later, my best friend and I road tripped to his new apartment, a mere block away from it. My first morning in Minneapolis was spent eating their veggie chili and sipping their not Stumptown good, but still totally excellent coffee, watching the bikers hustle in the snow.
