Buzz is right, when the WWDC crowd is there it loses much of it's charm.
That said, thursday nights are still great. -

In my opinion: wildly overrated by the WWDC crowd. Very, very average. It could be that I just think that because when I've been there it's jam packed with people and I don't deal well with that situation.

Fantastic bar. I like it best when it's not WWDC. Thursday nights, the place is empty you can bring you friends and play cards. It's double alley address makes sure no one will harsh your vibe.
This is possibly my favorite not hoity toity cocktail bar (which I love with much fervor) in the entire bay area.
