I love the Pegu Club because, while its cocktails are absolutely world class, it's never overly crowded. I think this is partly due to its relatively out of the way location, and partly due to the fact that it's a bit older and has been somewhat eclipsed by the newer generation of cocktail bars like PDT and Death & Co. It's great to know about as a reliable place you can get a great drink in a pinch on a weekend night without waiting an hour.
