What Andrew said. A++, points for simplicity, execution, quality and, perhaps most notably, ambiance. People enjoyed eating *and* working there, and the owner was funny and respectful.
Oh, and the sandwiches will blow your mind. -

Came in here with Robi and Ryan shortly before closing. We all had the Salumi Salami sandwiches, which were amazing. Wine bottles were available on the tables, with glasses for $4.50 apiece.
Absolutely amazing salami. The wine was good Italian red. Everyone was super friendly, proud of the food they were serving, and for good reason.
I'm in love with this place. -

Cured meats and Sandwich shop headed by Mario Batali's parents... his father is a former Boeing engineer who studied meat curing after his retirement. I saw the shop on TV somewhere, and the lunch lines were long... must be some good stuff! Also recommended by Tony Bourdain in his list “13 Places to Eat Before You Die”.
