For a touch over $100 per person, with 3 types of sake, omikase, uni, several appetizers, and desserts (which for me were the highlight of the meal), I wouldn't class this as "overpriced". However, I would class it as "overrated".
Two things really stick in my mind:
- Totally amateurish preparation of uni, with no attention payed to texture.
- The bathroom. A single toilet, for which you have to walk outside the restaurant and wait in line.
There are better places in the area. -

I really wanted to love this place, after all of the hype I've heard ("Best sushi in the bay area!", "Pimped by SJ during the iPhone announcement!") but I can't say I was overly impressed. They have quite the sake selection and they did have fish that I've never seen anywhere else, but nothing about the meal blew me away. Perhaps it was overhyped, but I think there's better sushi at better prices elsewhere in the bay area.
