Went again today for lunch and they had a new cocktail menu. Tried a gin and tonic with house made spiced tonic, which was pretty nice and refreshing.

Very cool, rustic-feeling, place @buzz took me to. The food & drinks here were totally top notch. The decor made me feel comfortable immediately. Totally a fan.

One of my all around favorite New York restaurants/bars. I love handsome "hipster hunting lodge" feel, and its location tucked away at the end of a forgotten alley on the LES. Their cocktails are great (I especially love the Freemans Cocktail). I also recommend the "Devils on Horseback" (bacon-wrapped, cheese-stuffed dates). Can be a bit sceney and crowded on weekends, but wonderful for weekday lunch.
